About Center
The Bioinformatics Center aims to connect TMU's high-throughput core facilities (Core Facility Center, Facility for Physical Mapping and DNA Sequencing), and integrate biomedical data from inside and outside the university (including the TMU Joint Biobank, the Taiwan Biobank and Taiwan Human Body Biodata Database, and foreign TCGA data). In addition, it aims to develop and construct various omics data analysis platforms to serve as a foundation for biomedical information research and provide research scholars in its three hospitals with analysis resources, thus increasing the value of research.
Functions of the Center
1. Collect and integrate genomic data (data) from inside and outside the TMU.
2. Handle the management, applications and utilization of omics research database (process).
3. Handle the establishment, customized analysis and consultation of biomedical data analysis (process and service).
4. Handle applications and reservations for data analysis software.
5. Introduce omics data and provide analysis method instructions and training courses on software use.
