The Taiwan Association for Institutional Research (TAIR) will hold the "2025 Taiwan Institutional Research International Symposium – Data Governance and University Social Impact" on February 21, 2025 (Friday).

2025 Taiwan Institutional Research International Symposium – Call for Papers

Symposium Topics:

  1. Enrollment and Talent Selection: Topics include recruitment, assessment scales, school choice evaluation, and strategies to address low birth rates.
  2. Quality Assurance in Teaching and Innovative Practices: Includes Higher Education Sprout Project, academia-industry collaborations, and satisfaction in teaching or learning.
  3. Institutional Governance and Management: Covers institutional development evaluations, administrative efficiency, stakeholder communication, organizational improvement, and advancements in institutional research.
  4. Institutional Governance and Efficiency Improvement: IR development, institutional data systems, and administrative efficiency.
  5. International Talent Development: Recruitment of international students, study abroad programs, international talent recruitment, and bilingual education.
  6. Data Governance and Application: Topics include organizational structure, policies, accountability, information systems, and data flow management.
  7. Sustainable Development and Educational Innovation: Focus on sustainable curriculum and learning outcomes, campus sustainability planning, evaluation systems, and university social responsibility.

Important Dates:

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: November 15, 2024 (Tuesday)
  • Notification of Review Results: December 2, 2024 (Monday)

Submission Guidelines:

  • Oral Presentation: Limited to 4,000 words (approximately 3 pages), including title, authors and affiliations, research background, methodology, findings, discussion, conclusion, and 3-5 keywords.
  • Poster Presentation: Abstract limited to 500 words, including title, authors and affiliations, research background, methodology, findings, discussion, conclusion, and 3-5 keywords.
